Daily Diary - 10th December 2017

So... in my goal to share with you, I thought 'Why not do a daily diary?'.

So, if you've been following my posts, you know I have been trying lots of different post types to try and make this site engaging to you all.

My goal is to share with you, to show you all that there is life beyond any diagnosis - but at the same time to share tips, tricks, goals, and all that wonderful stuff.

So, I thought, maybe people will gain some benefit, inspiration or just enjoyment if I shared each day with you? At least I can see if these things are fun and something everyone likes - and besides, there must be something in my life you will enjoy 🙂

What not to share

So, you will get to learn (if you don't already) that, currently I work 5 days of the week in an office - that won't be shared. Firstly, it would be repetitive, potentially boring and to be honest, confidential 🙂

What I will be sharing is things that happen at home, things such as times or techniques using to get little Mr. to sleep, any new things we do that day - for example, the introduction of a new flash card. Or really, anything else that happens.

So, this post will be the longest you will see as I really only intend it to be a few lines long. On that, here is my diary entry for today...

Sunday - a day for rest...

Today, Sunday, was certainly a day for taking it easy. For a start, I'm full of cold - my wife is just getting over a cold she had - and potentially little Mr. may have some bug purely as he's been a bit on and off today.

We went up for coffee and cookie - I always enjoy my Free Waitrose coffee.

Little Mr., we have noticed, is becoming a little more interactive with some toys - though he still bites, and does his sensory dropping of them. Today I noticed this a little more, possibly as we've had family down so today he got the front room back. We are trying to go through alternatives to stop limit the items he does this sensory play (dropping things through his hands) he does - mainly because his SEN school teacher things it's getting a bit too much of a control over him.

Bedtime, well its the usual. The in and out of bed for an hour... But at least he did go to sleep before 10pm 🙂

Today has been a good day - even if I am full of cold.
